Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities

The Kirkcudbright Tattoo - sponsored by
Monday 30th August 2010. 7.30 pm onwards. (Be there early)
This event forms the climax of the Summer Festivities for the town, and is undoubtedly one of the most popular and well attended.
Large crowds always form in St Cuthbert Street, under the shadow of the Castle, where everyone is presented with a spectacular night of Scottish music and dancing.
We have still to finalise the entertainment for the night but there will be lots of traditional Scottish pipe band music and dancing, and something special too - promise!
The night finishes off with a fireworks display which brings our season of events to a close.
Tickets again cost only £2.00 each (pre-school children free). Tickets are available in Kirkcudbright at our charity shop in the Harbour Square and at Solway Books, Thomson's Newsagents and Mitchell's Keystore. They are also available at the Star Hotel, Twynholm, and at a velue in Castle Douglas still to be confirmed, or by post: Please send cheque for total amount (payable to 'Summer Festivities') along with a stamped/addressed envelope, to Irene Robertson, 14 Buchanan Street, Kirkcudbright, DG6 4AL.
Tickets are limited, but any remaining will be sold on the night in the Soaperie Gardens, near the venue. We look forward to seeing you there.
